If you calculate the timeframe of attacking Iran in 10 months, if true, then the month would be July. And that is around the time in which the Clown is stating in his speech tonight to withdraw some of the troops from Iraq. How ironic..
Germany's unwillingness to impose further sanctions on Iran has pushed the United States closer towards a decision on a military strike, FOX News reported on Wednesday.
According to the report, Germany's decision has spurred senior US army officials to try and convince US Foreign Secretary Condoleezza Rice to abandon once and for all the diplomatic route of preventing a nuclear Iran. The report further stated that the date of preference for an attack against Iran is in eight to 10 months - after the US presidential candidates for both the Democrats and the Republicans have been chosen, but before the major presidential campaign kicks off.
The report stated that the attack would be comprised of two main strategies: cutting off the Iranian gas supply, which the US hopes would pressure the Iranian people towards action against their government, and an aerial bombing campaign, which would be meant to paralyze Iranian defenses and allow American bombers to destroy the nuclear facilities.
Opponents to a military strike claim that an attack would require at least one week of intense bombing, and that it would only set the Iranian nuclear program back a few years, the report said. Two other claims of the opponents is that an American strike would provoke Iran into attacking Israel, and that abandoning diplomatic action would negatively impact Iraq and the US troops stationed there.

If the US attacked Iran the United States would have no support not even from the UN.
This would be a huge mistake, there is so much that needs to be done in the original mess we made in the middle east, why think about adding more fuel to the fire.
This is totally INSANE on at least three levels:
1. Yeah, like we need more Muslims and people all over the world pissed at us.
2. WTF does the election have anything to do with what other people in other countries are doing?
3. The military does not have the troops to do that and any planner who thinks Iran will be a cakewalk is nuttier than all the pistachio farms in Iran.
The blog seems better. I must have hit a stuck part earlier.
Uh, Mr. Kitty:
No Blog problems here. Everything seems to be working fine.
With more information coming out regarding the Gerbil's plan (of course, under the guidance of his boss, President Cheney) to invade Iraq along with his cheerleading koolaid buddies, Iranian leader is three steps ahead of the Gerbil. The Gerbil may think that he reuse the plan when he invaded Iraq. But while the Gerbil was smoking his weed, yearning the bottle, and eating Cheetos, the Iranian President was creating relationships with other allies and other leaders. And I agree with Jackie. If the Gerbil invade Iran, he will be invade the country alone with no support. A man without a country. The last laugh will be on the Clown and he will leave the office being the laughing stock around the world.
