The cost of health insurance in the United States climbed
nearly twice as fast as wages in the first half of 2007. Kaiser vice-president Gary Claxton said, "In 2007, the increase in health insurance premiums was about
twice the rate of inflation and not quite twice the increase in workers' pay."

It's really a sad state in this country, poor health care increases the costs for everyone, people going to the ER without healthcare can't be refused, many have not seen a doctor in, well who knows how long, many other medical problems are found in the ER, many that could have been treated simply and inexpensively if caught sooner, it's just a real mess.
