Palfrey Update #27 - Subpoenas Served on ABC's Brian Ross/New York Post's Cindy Adams.

Received an email from civil attorney Montgomery Blair Sibley on Ms. Palfrey's case.

Greetings:

Along with the criminal case against Jeane, the government has also filed a civil forfeiture action seeking to take all her assets. Curiously, in the criminal action -- in which Jeane could go to jail -- she is not allowed to gather information before trial by examinations of witnesses under oath. However, in the civil forfeiture action, such discovery before trial is allowed. Go figure.

Judge Kessler stopped the civil forfeiture action last March for six months to prevent Jeane from getting information to help her defense in the civil and criminal cases. That stay order expired last week and I promptly issued subpoenas for the depositions of (i) Troy Burrus, the IRS case agent on Jeane's case, for Friday, September 28th in Washington, D.C., and (ii) Brian Ross of ABC News, (ii) Cindy Adams of the New York Post and (iv) Bill Bastone of the Smokingun.com for Friday October 5th in New York City. Those subpoenas were served yesterday on the witnesses.

I expect both the government and the subpoenaed witnesses to aggressively fight Jeane's attempt to get the basic information regarding why this matter was commenced by the government and how the government has acted since the seizing of all Jeane's assets one year ago. Heaven forbid the truth comes out.

This is like the case with the church. Charging the church with crimes for 4 years and then when it came time for the government to show their cards they dropped the case.
This will most likely happen with Miss Palfreys case too. Draw this out so she spends all her money with bills then drop the case. Look I know no ones running the Department of Justice but this is more like how Saddam ran his courts. If Miss Palfrey got to have Vitter on the stand it would be all over. Vitter didn't get sex from Miss Palfrey's business so he moved on the a real honest Prostitute House and then had a long time affair with a Prostitute. All this stories will be found to be feed by the government. This case is about covering up high level White House and GOP names. They got scared and now it's out of hand. The officials involved are connected to Jack Abramoff and Duke Cunningham and crimes they committed. The court has to be careful they it's not becoming part of the government's cover up.
The only question that's still not answered by the complainants is why have the men been charged and why haven't real Prostitution houses that are still running not being shut down and charged. Then it's the legal businesses like Miss Palfrey had have any been charged and why is the government still letting them continue their business. So many question with no answers.

While working in the Municipal Court when a prostitute was charged so was the man who paid for her service. I guess without an Attorney General the law is different. Good to see the Church and the Religious Family Values GOP cheer and support elected officials hiring prostitutes while condemning a closet gay Senator. Even Jenna Bush believes sex should be done when ever you want it and age means nothing. I wonder now that Jenna is a teacher is she teaching girls what her Mother and Father taught her like underage drinking, free sex, getting kicked out of country for being to wild, cursing and using her middle finger to make her point, drunk/drugs hang over while being found on the beach and who knows what else. Let's hope she doesn't have aids. How much is the Bush Family paying this young man to be engaged to Jenna and was he promised the White House in return.
