Palfrey Update #25 - Jeane To Subpoena 83 DC Escort Service Owners.

Here is update 25 from Ms. Palfrey's civil attorney Montgomery Blair Sibley. Eighty five of DC escort services are being subpoenaed. It will be interesting what questions Mr. Sibley will raise on these escort services. Here are my thoughts:

a) How many of the escort services have been presently or in the past either under suspicion, investigation or accused as a prostitution service by the government? If so, what was the outcome?

b) How many of the escort services have ever been audited by the IRS?

c) Are the description of these escort services similar to Pamela Martin and Associates (Ms. Palfrey's business)?

d) Have any Ms. Palrey's clients have ever used any of the 85 escort services?

Here is Mr. Sibley's email this morning:

Greetings:

Docketed on Monday was Jeane's First Omnibus Motion. This motion seeks twelve (12) separate orders from the Court and I have been and will be explaining the salient points of each motion in these Updates.Along with the "Honey Pot" defense (discussed in Update #22), the defense of Outrageous Government Conduct (discussed in Update #23), and the defense of Politically-Motivated Prosecution (discussed in Update #24), Jeane had already raised her claim of Selective Prosecution to Judge Kessler. On August 16th, Judge Kessler ruled that Jeane “has not offered a single piece of evidence to support that claim or demonstrate that other escort services of spa owners who have committed similar acts have not been indicted.”

Accordingly, in the First Omnibus Motion, Jeane has asked Judge Kessler for an evidentiary hearing at which time she will offer evidence that similarly situated escort services "have not been indicted".

That "evidence" will be obtained by subpoenaing every owner/operator of Eighty Three (83) presently-known escort services operating in the D.C. area. Those subpoenas will command and compel the owners/operators of those escort services to appear and testify as to their operations and whether they have been federally prosecuted.

Additionally, the subpoenas will command and compel the owners/operators of these escort services to bring with them (i) the names of all their escorts, (ii) the names of all their clients and (iii) their telephone and banking records. Upon this testimony and the records produced, Jeane expects to prove that the prosecution of her is an impermissible selective prosecution.

Finally, that evidence will also identify a larger pool of escort service clients and escorts who Jeane can call to establish the legitimate "fantasy sex" operations of escort services.
