The Lair-in-Chief has already given Petraeus his speech. As for the mission it's stay the course until the Gerbil is out of office. Americans don't need to be told anything they will do as their told. As for Congress well just sign the check and leave the White House alone. Nothing will change while the Gerbil is in office. Look for higher numbers of soldiers to be killed as the White House says things are going great. Maliki will now ask the Iran President to visit for talks as the Gerbil tells American they didn't see what they saw. If Petraeus trys to tell the truth he will be replaced at once.
I watched Petraeus' report on CSPan, he would go into how they made progress here, there, whatever (numerous examples)and how they then had unexpected setbacks, via insurgents etc. This was the theme throughout, one step forward, two steps back, also throwing in the Iran fear factor whenever possible. And yes Jackie Ahmadinejad and Maliki are cooperating quite well together the latest is on oil and refinery exchange. I am so less encouraged that things are going well after Petraeus' report. And what will the new OBL tape have in it?
