In April, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) was asked his policy on Iran, and he began by singing “bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran” to the tune of the Beach Boys’ Barbara Ann. Today on Hardball, host Chris Matthews jokingly asked McCain: “Are you still for the Beach Boys lyric on that one?” McCain responded, “You don’t want me to sing it again do you?” To which Matthews answered, “No I don’t want you to sing it. … I think though the lyrics were somewhat scary. You don’t really wanna bomb Iran do you?” McCain demurred on answering the question, but instead claimed, “You gotta have some humor.” Rather than pressing McCain, Matthews said:
I agree, I appreciate that. You’re a great guy. … We love you here at Hardball. We consider you one of our own even though that hurts you on the right.

The comments at the end of the blog on the post "bomb,bomb, bomb..."priceless, one comment was for McCain to get out of the race and seek professional help, lol, not having both or any oars in the water, one tree shy of a hammock....truely all the comments were hilarious, and the same theme, Johnny has lost it.

That’s pretty darn funny, don’t you think? I’m sure there are Iranian families who would really get a kick out of McCain’s sense of humor. As their loved ones are killed by the American bombs, they’ll likely be thinking of McCain’s little song and how cute it was.

McCain is frozen in a time warp. When he got captured by the North Vietnamese they used brain-washing tactics on him and the damage it caused has now shown up again. He must retire from the Senate, before he goes nuts like the Korean shooter Cho at Virginia Tech.
In light of the Cho situation at VT, McCain should be forced to get medical help at a mental health facility.

I’ve seen repeated posts suggesting that McCain seems to be suffering some sort of mental illness or condition that is impairing his mental ability (dementia, alzheimers). Yet most of the posts seem not to be concerned but joking and hateful like the one above. Is this the way people on this site treat those who are impaired? War jokes are out, but the mentally impaired are fair game? Please refrain from talking about the hateful Republicans if you can’t muster up any kindness for the ill.
