More Saudi Guantanamo detainees return home.

Not on the news...

Riyadh - Sixteen Saudis returned home on Thursday after their release from the Gunatanamo Bay prison camp where the US detains foreign terror suspects, the Saudi state news agency said. Saudi Minister of Interior Prince Nayif bin Abdul-Aziz said his country was seeking to secure the release of all the remaining Saudis detained at the Cuban prison, the Saudi news agency reported.

The agency did not give the number of Saudi detainees remaining. The US captured many during the war it launched on Afghanistan to topple the Taliban regime after the 9/11 terror attacks of 2001.
Many detainees have been held without charge as the US denies them the prisoner of war status.
