McCain: MoveOn “ought to be thrown out of this country.”

Crooks and Liars:

“It’s disgraceful, it’s got to be retracted and condemned by the Democrats, and MoveOn.org ought to be thrown out of this country.”

Looks like the “straight-talking” McCain realizes how idiotic he sounded, and has already started to backpedal:

The McCain campaign clarified the senator’s comments for CBS News.

“Senator McCain, like most Americans, is appalled by the MoveOn.org ad. Last night he expressed his outrage in words that did not convey his intended meaning. What he meant to say was that MoveOn’s smear of General Petraeus’ character should have no place in the American political debate

Guiliani's comments after the Gerbils last speech were all praise for Petraeus, and calling him brilliant. Guiliani and Romney are the GOP front runners, and I still can't figure out why the GOP wants a mob connected drag queen anyhow. McCain, who cares what he said, he is falling out of the race and headed to a retirement home, I hope he is checking them out and campaigning in them. McCain had a bunch of seniors waving small flags at his rebuttal, he looked like he was just interrupted from his bingo game when they put him on camera and asked for his comments.

Well, with all of the ignorant politicans like McCain that are criticizing MoveOn and the ads, these morons are making MoveOn much bigger than what it is. And the asswipe Geritol Senator didn't once criticize the Swift Boat Ads that smeared Kerry. He is just pissed off because MoveOn had the guts to speak the truth and do their homework on Gen. Betray-Us!
