The Maestro, RIP

MSNBC: Luciano Pavarotti, whose vibrant high C’s and ebullient showmanship made him one of the world’s most beloved tenors, has died, his manager told The Associated Press. He was 71.

A very talented opera singer and world known tenor will be missed...

When your young you don't really apprecaite things until your older. I got to hear Luciano Pavarotti in New York. I didn't want to go to an opera, I had hoped we were going to Studio 54. But a girlfriend of mine had tickets so I tagged along. It was ok but then they said Luciano Pavarotti was in the house and asked he step up on the stage. Well he sang one song at the request of the audience. I didn't know then I was listening to the best but I never forgot it either.
Now the price it cost to see him I would have never been able to afford but I got the chance of a life time that I now apprecate so much.
