From BLT:
It seems as if D.C. Courts are having a bit of a dry spell today, and in this case, lawyers aren't to blame. In addition to the closing of the federal district court building on 333 Constitution Ave., NW due to a water main break, the D.C. Superior Court, located in the Moultrie Courthouse on 500 Indiana Ave, N.W. is also deemed uninhabitable for the day for the same reason.
The DC Water and Sewer Authority is currently repairing a 12-inch water main on C St., between 3rd and 6th streets, blocks from the Moultrie Courthouse. Water service for customers was disrupted due to the work. Jurors' services for the D.C. Superior Court will be rescheduled and the court is expected to reopen tomorrow, according to a voice message left on the Court's main line. "There's no water in the building. No one can go to the bathroom, wash their hands, nothing," says a security guard giving the news to people as they approach the court building. "It's a health hazard. Closed for the day."
