Authorities in Alexandria, Louisiana, arrested two people after nooses were seen hanging from a pickup Thursday night, the city's mayor told CNN. Alexandria is near Jena where thousands protested the treatment of black teens known as the "Jena 6." developing story
Police say the 18-year-old driver of the truck was charged with driving while intoxicated and inciting to riot and also may be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor -- the 16-year-old passenger.
As police were questioning the driver, he said he had an unloaded rifle in the back, which police found. They also found a set of brass knuckles in the cup holder on the dashboard, according to the police report.
The passenger told police he and his family are in the Ku Klux Klan, the police report said. He also said he had tied the nooses and that the brass knuckles belonged to him, the report said.
On a side note: From the outcome of the protest in Jena, word is out that the lawmakers will be presenting the Jena case in D.C. for the Justice Department to investigate the civil rights of this case. I am sure that there are other sleepy hollow towns like Jena in other states that need to be known.

No bail for the young man in jail and no arrest for the young man displaying the noose from their car. Oh things have gone backward really fast. With the Head Klansmna in the White House it's no surprise. What a great example to show the world of how United States Democracy works. Yes our nightmare has come back this time we have no Attorney General and who knows Libby might be appointed to handle matters.
