On the radio last night John Gibson compared the words of the world's most wanted terrorist, Osama Bin Laden, with the words of Keith Olbermann. There's an echo in the room...

On Olbermann's `Countdown`, he showed a picture of Bin Laden from 2004 and the "recent" photo of Bin Laden from 2007 when he covered this story. One problem; it wasn't the same guy. How do I know? The beard. In the Middle East, men gain status and respect as they age. One of the "signs" they use is the graying of their beard.
Bin Laden in 2004 had an already graying beard. In the "photo" of Bin Laden in 2007, "he" had a black beard.
I was deployed to Saudi Arabia in 1990. I was stationed in Turkey in 1991-1993. I was deployed to Iraq in 1991. I returned from Iraq in Nov 2006. I have spent plenty of time in the Middle East.
Middle Eastern men don't dye their beards as the gray is seen as a sign of age, which in turn, gives them automatic status and respect in their culture as an elder.
Many American contractors who were old enough to be gray (or have grayed prematurely), grew out a beard while in Iraq to get a measure of status and respect from the Iraqi's we worked with... and we are supposed to believe that the head of a notorious international terrorist organization dyed his beard black at his age and with his fundamental Islamic beliefs? Sorry.
America is being had on this story. Since we don't see Bin Laden all over Al-Jazeera denouncing this, he must be dead already.

Right. Being an elder is good, so having a gray beard is a good thing.
Although, what's up with Kaddafi's hair? His hair looked dyed 20 years ago.

Now I know the RNC set this up to look like the Dems aired this fake Osama. I knew something was wrong with the speech of caurse I knew it wasn't Osama. The White House sure must miss Karl Rove because he had good tricks to play on the public. This plan wasn't done well at all.
If people can get past the color of the beard, the things to look at are the nose and mouth structures. I have not yet found a suitable new picture to do an adequate comparison.
But, the media is showing its ignorance. Some media idiots are saying the message is "bizarre." They have no clue what the Qtub/Muslim Brotherhood corrupted version of Islam is like. First, you give your enemy a chance to convert to Islam, then you kill them if they do not convert.
Second, assume for a moment the video was done by someone from al Qaeda. They know more about the U.S. then we know about them. The same was true of the Soviets. They had more people teaching English than we had total people learning Russian during the Cold War. We can't even have Arabic taught in a New York City high school without some ignorant, xenophobic, Bible-thumpers bitching about how learning the Arabic language is teaching kids about the religion of terrorism. Those people are wrong on so many levels.
Jackie's version would explain why the usual Arabic news organizations did not get the Osama tape first.
Mr. Kitty they are laughing their butts off at this one. I thought Osama has breast in the picture was it a sex change or what. At lease we know Osama had a good laugh where ever he is.
The plan didn't work because Karl Rove left the building. He knows has to do these things at lease to make them believable.

This does not look like him at all. This one almost looks like it was shot from far away on purpose so we could not get a good look at him.
Hmmm, the one that looks like him in the face looks like they took his head and stuck it on someone else.

Even a blind man could tell it was a fake picture but remember the White House released the fact that the voice was proven by a US expert to be real. Now as I said I didn't know it was a sit up to be blamed by the Dems but I was sure the langage wasn't the words or topic that Osama had ever spoken before. Each person has a style of words they use and this was more like someone from the United States.
Let's see how the press handles the fact that this is fake and how NBC handles the that that some of the words are the same used by Keith Olberman. Now that's' going to be interesting.

Faux or not?
The pictures are pretty good on the WRH site. The eyes are clearly not the same either. The real Osama had piercing eyes, ones that looked like he spent years paying close attention to the slightest movement around him.
The choices are:
He is already dead.
Too paranoid about the CIA finding him that he got a 'stunt double.'
or
He's living it up on someone's dollar.
