From Raw Story:
If the White House gets its way, the Bush Administration's Sept. 15 progress report on Iraq may be delivered by the U.S. secretaries of state and defense -- and not by top US Iraq General David Petraeus and US Iraq Ambassador Ryan Crocker in a widely anticipated public congressional briefing.
According to the Washington Post, White House officials suggested to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the House Foreign Affairs Committee last week that Petraeus and Crocker would brief lawmakers in a private, closed session before the report's release.
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates would then be the only members of the Administration to provide public testimony.

Democrats, however, say an alternative presentation plan is not viable.

Regardless whether the clown writes and presents the progress report of Iraq, the public do not believe the President or trust him. The public are already fed up with King George and are deaf ears to his rhetoric.

Can Bush ever tell the truth is it in him or is it his illness.
General Petraeus lost 190,000 weapons that are now in the enemy hands. Now we see ever day the horror of the Iraq Civil War. Now Petraeus is going to tell us what we see isn't really happening and the many soldiers dying everyday really is true.
Makes since that the White House would take over and let lying Connie Rice say the mustard cloud is going to be release over the US or this time she'll say we're winning the hearts and mines of the Iraq people and everything we see on TV isn't happening. No US soldiers have died and we're winning a war that doesn't exist.
