Military commanders tell Brown to withdraw from Iraq without delay — Senior military commanders have told the Government that Britain can achieve "nothing more" in south-east Iraq, and that the 5,500 British troops still deployed there should move towards withdrawal without further delay.

SPB PM Brown told the Gerbil he was withdrawing UK troops but would wait till Sept. As BBC said Friday it's got worse and Brown had a meeting with his cabinet and would release a statement sooner then Sept. 15th. Looks like with the lap dog gone it's all over for the Gerbil. Now only the US will be in Iraq. There are 500 Japanese but their not in combat areas.
