Memo to Congress: Put Dick back on the radar.

Cheney has had a lot more power than the media want to admit. I decided to review back Dick's fingerprints and connections to the ongoing investigations.

Exhibit A: Cheney's involvement access to the Justice Department and cases.

May 4, 2006 memo. Signed by the Attorney General himself: Gonzo

Exhibit B: Libby and Cheney's notes exhibited in the Libby Trial.

Cheney writes:

"Not going to protect one staffer and sacrifice the guy this Pres[was crossed out] that was asked to stick his neck in the meat grinder because of the incompetence of others. . ."

But, Libby's defense attorney, Theodore Wells painted a different picture of Cheney's notes in the opening arguments in the Libby trial.
See Justice League posting.

From the opening arguments by Wells:

"Cheney's note: 'Not going to protect one staffer and sacrifice the guy that was asked to stick his neck in the meat grinder because of the incompetence of others.'
The person who was to be protected was Karl Rove. Karl Rove was President Bush's right hand person. Karl Rove was the person most responsible for making sure Bush stayed in office. He had to be protected. The person who was to be sacrificed."

Let's look at today. Was Libby the sacrifical lamb to Rove? No! Libby gets spared from jail time and gets a commuted sentence by the President and the one who Wells claimed to be protected resign from his job recently!!! So, who is really the guy who is being protected?? The answer is from the government's exhibit of Libby and Cheney's notes.

<---It is obvious that Dick Cheney actually holds power in all three branches.... Too much power for Cheney has shown and exposed his true character for six years in the White House.
