It looks the White House expects the surge to continue on indefinitely – Bush is demanding another $50 billion for his Iraq policy:
The request is being prepared now in the belief that Congress will be unlikely to balk so soon after hearing [David Petraeus and Ryan Crocker] argue that there are promising developments in Iraq but that they need more time to solidify the progress they have made, a congressional aide said.

The Gerbil is getting as much money as he can because the President of Iran will be moving in Iraq to help the Iraqis. Now we know the US sold the 190,000 weapons and they weren't stolen. General Petraeus can't be that stupid he had to be in on the plan. The jig is up and our troops will be sent home by the Iraq PM. The only question is who will help the US out of the debt the Bush Administration has put us in. Remember Bush/Cheney said Iraq didn't have to pay back any money the US gave.
