“Sen. David Vitter, R-La., apologized Monday night for ‘a very serious sin in my past‘ after his telephone number appeared among those associated with an escort service operated by the so-called ‘D.C. Madam.’”
The statement containing Vitter’s apology said his telephone number was included on phone records of Pamela Martin and Associates dating from before he ran for the Senate in 2004.
Personally, I could care less what Mr. Vitter does in the bedroom or any indiscretions that he has done. My concern is connecting the dots into why Ms. Palfrey and her company was targeted and who is exactly from the list of numbers are connected to her probe. But I do believe that Ms. Palfrey's case is possibly political motivated to silence her. I did some research in to Vitter last night. Here is information about Vitter:
Vitter won the Senate contest outright in the November 2, 2004, senatorial jungle primary to replace John Breaux, which coincided with the regular presidential election. Vitter was in Congress in 1992-1999 and then ran for the Senate seat. During 2004 presidential election in the senate race:
55 wins for GOP
44 wins for Dems
And then we had the contraversial state Ohio to tilt in favor of the Bush getting re-elected again. The GOP dominated the seats in the House and the Senate in 2004. And I wonder if there will be any more names of officials that will come up from the phone records that connected to the contraversial 2004 election.

This case is getting interesting SPB. Now Vitters was one of the loudest to call for Clinton to resign for having an affair. If more names come up so to speak that were States that Karl Rove worked on with the fixed machines and denying votes to people this might be the reason for the attack. Look Vitters had this massage 7 years ago, which put this right at the time the Gerbil got in office.
As Karl Rove has been working on the 2008 election to regain the control and the Oval Office this might also be a way of keeping names out of the headlines by bringing false charges.
Who would have ever thought that Vitters would be in a worse position then Bill. God does work in mysterious ways pay back is something you just never know. Where's Newt? He was another one who sinned but yelled for Bill to resign. Oh yes I remember the performance by Senator Livingston and then Larry Flynt like the closet door open on Livingston. Yes Livingston made Bill Clinton look like a choir boy.
We shall see who else is on that list in connection to the 2004 election. And yes I agree with Vitter and his hypocritical comments about Clinton. We have to remember that family values played a role into the 2004 election. I am looking forward to connecting the dots.
And I wonder if there will be any more names of officials that will come up from the phone records that connected to the controversial 2004 election.
Interesting point SPB and I am guessing Harvey and Bob will be on the lookout for that. I doubt I would know who those players are.
