More reactions on Scooter get out of jail card free.

These reactions were not in the media:

Chairman Conyers on President Bush’s Decision to Commute

Rules Committee Chairwoman Louise Slaughter on President Bush’s Decision to Commute

Rep Earl Blumenauer

And here is Teddy V. Ruxbin Wells' statement:

“Mr. Libby and his family wish to express their gratitude for the President’s decision today. We continue to believe in Mr. Libby’s innocence. Scooter and his family appreciate the many Americans who have supported them over the last two years.”

Despite the public is pretty pissed about Bush commuting Libby, keep in mind that the CIA Leak investigation is not the only crime that I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby is linked to. And yes, Bush can pardon Libby of his crime. But, what is Bush going to do about the following crooked people currently under the radar, serving in prison, indicted, or currently under investigation:

Tom DeLay, Duke Cunningham, Bob Ney, Jack Abramoff, Jerry Lewis, Jeffrey Skilling, John Doolittle, Ralph Reed, Grover Norquist, Karl Rove, Dick Cheney, Andrew Card, Condi Rice, Dusty Foggo, Brent Wilkes, and others.

Also, let's not forget sealed vs. sealed. ;-)
