House rejects King George’s plan to cut public broadcasting.

And I'll drink to that, George...

From Thinkprogress:

In a 357-72 vote this evening, the House “rejected President Bush’s plan to eliminate the $420 million federal subsidy for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.”

And the list keeps increasing. We give Billions to Iraq as Bush cuts troops withdrawal, children's health care and now public broadcasting. Soon the American people will have nothing but just keep supporting the illegal invasion and over paid contractors.
