Gonzo has no ‘regret’ over pressuring a sick Ashcroft.

From Thinkprogress:

In a closed-door meeting today, the House Intelligence Committee questioned Attorney General Alberto Gonzales about the “reasons behind Gonzales’ controversial 2004 visit to the hospital bedside of John Ashcroft, reportedly to pressure the ailing attorney general to endorse Bush’s surveillance program.” According to chairman Silvestre Reyes (D-TV), “Gonzales did not express any regret.”

That was such a low down slimy move by Gonzo to go to a sick right after surgery, not even give him a day to recover.

Bush knew he had a true idiot when he appointed Gonzo. To have regret you first have to have a heart and understand right from wrong. Gonzo was so excited to be included in the Bush group he would do anything as he has. Karl Rove was happy to have a yes man who would not be smart enough or man enough to ask questions. Just do as he's told or back to the fields he goes.
