Goldman Sachs targeted with death threats.

From CNN Money:

Hand-written letters say hundreds will die; bank believes threat isn't credible.

NEW YORK (CNN) -- The FBI is investigating letters sent to newspapers nationwide that say "Goldman Sachs. Hundreds will die. We are inside. You cannot stop us," the bureau said Friday.

The letters were sent to nine newspapers, including publications in Fort Wayne, Ind., Corpus Christi, Texas, and Boise, Idaho, a law enforcement official told CNN.

"We take these things very seriously," said FBI spokesman Bill Carter.

The FBI does not yet know who mailed the letters, which were signed "A.Q.U.S.A.," FBI sources told CNN.
Goldman spokesman Lucas Van Praag told CNN the investment firm has been in close contact with the FBI since late June. The FBI analysis, he said, "concluded the threat is extraordinarily incredible," meaning the threat lacks credibility.

Just me or does this look like the anthrax letters?

No, it's not you. Another scare tactic to the public. And look for a news spin on a connection to Al Queda behind the Goldman Sachs threats or simply blame Bill Clinton.

Thanks to Anonymous. I was trying to rattle my memory on the letters, too.
