October, 2005: Another photo op for the Commander In Chief, a televised "conversation" with the troops in Iraq to show the American people that everything's just fine over there . . . only somehow footage slipped out of the troops being told just what to say and how to say it.

Off the topic, Increased security

Well, Chicago was not on that list so Mayor Daley is going to be pissed again. They can skip Amtrak and stick to the subways. The people at Amtrak are very, very nice and could teach the airline people a thing or two. But, when trains run four to six hours late, what terrorist has that much patience? ;-)

You know as well as I do that the Gerbil is taking advantage and salvating over the London terrorist bomb threat. You notice that we didn't have high security last year of 4th of July. Don't worry I won't be taking the train nor at the airport. ;-)

LOL! They will rent a car, get a cab or take the bus!

The Chicago Suntimes had a nice two page story last week on why they thought Cheney was really running the country. Last night on CNN, on the Scooter commute, their were people on saying that it is either good or bad for the republicans, depending on your view, good because it shows that this administration does not feel that this was such a horrible thing, or bad because this administration is protecting and covering up it's own. Also on news radio today, people were saying since the UK airport bombing overshadowed the news this was a good time to do this.
But the general consensous was that this administration is corrupt from top to bottom.

Also last night there was something going on over at midway, firetrucks and extra police that were stopping people on their way in from the north bound Cicero entrance way.
