Here is the CIA secret of Ms. Wilson's years of service to the CIA. And this is from their website as public information. Why the big deal of not allowing Ms. Wilson to release her book? The CIA simply want to divert the attention away from the public to know Ms. Plame's employment, dedication of service to the CIA and the fact that Ms. Wilson's employment was a lot more than just a desk job as what the naysayers in the media are claiming. One thing that bothers me is that the CIA won't allow Ms. Wilson to release her book but they allowed George Tenet to release his book and conduct interviews in the media and allowed former CIA agent Robert Baer to release several books.
From Thinkprogress:
Plame’s suit argues that the CIA cannot unfairly target her as the only person who is not allowed to publish this information:
“Defendants cannot unring the bell by asserting that their documented, authorized and voluntary disclosure was just a mistake,” the suit said.
“There simply is no basis for the CIA to maintain in effect that Valerie Plame is the only person in the world who is not entitled to publish this information,” it said.
The letter, though supposedly classified, remains available online from government websites today.

I finally saw the cover of George Tenet's book. It looks like he got the Dad-from-the-TV-show-Alias haircut for his photograph. I fell over in my chair laughing.
