He has been a lame duck his whole term, Cheney got the puppet to do and say what he needed so he can set up shop where there is plenty of growth and spas so he can retire quite well. Mission accomplished for Cheney, now he is is done and all set up for retirement, so let the puppet loose, why spend the time and energy getting and keeping handlers for him, actually this Pres has been a lame duck since the first election.
