Here is the comment from the Pardon-in-chief on convicted-and-soon-to-be-given-an-orange jumpsuit Libby:
The White House said that President Bush feels “terrible” for Libby and his family, but does not intend to intervene now.
“The president has not intervened so far in this or any other criminal matter, so he’s going to decline to do so now as well,” Perino said.
And where is now unemployed World Bank Prez, comb licker Wolfie's reaction? And where is the Dickster? *cricket, cricket*
A word of advice to Scooter in prison: don't bend over for the soap.... ;-)
Update: the Veep has been found!
In a new statement on Scooter Libby’s sentencing, Vice President Cheney says he is “deeply saddened by this tragedy. “Speaking as friends,” Cheney says, “we hope that our system will return a final result consistent with what we know of this fine man.” The Swamp notes, “Unlike most White House press releases, this particular one gave as a contact someone at the Williams and Connolly law firm.
A fine man... LOL! Yeah, right...
