From Raw Story:
The World Bank executive board will decide on Tuesday whether Paul Wolfowitz can continue as president, the bank board said in a statement on Monday.
A special bank committee "recommends the Executive Directors to consider whether Mr. Wolfowitz will be able to provide the leadership needed to ensure that the Bank continues to operate to the fullest extent possible in achieving its mandate," the statement said on the eve of an executive board session.
The 24-member board convenes on Tuesday with Wolfowitz facing accusations he secured an improper pay and promotion deal for his companion, a fellow bank employee.
