Here is the latest on the Conrad Black trial:
Deposed media tycoon Conrad Black's former right-hand man fingered him as the mastermind behind a multimillion dollar fraud at a Chicago trial Tuesday.
David Radler, who has pleaded guilty to fraud for his role in the scheme, took little responsibility for the decision to shift millions of dollars into the holding company which ran Hollinger International, which was once the third largest newspaper empire in the world.
Radler told the court that it was Black who first told him of the plan to award payments to the holding company, which Black controlled and which was in financial trouble at the time.
Radler said he knew the transfer of money was wrong and that he, as a partner in the holding company, would benefit from it.
"I didn't say no," he said.
He told the court that Black and his associates in Toronto decided that the holding company, Hollinger Inc, should receive 25 percent of any non-competition payments awarded to the publicly-traded subsidiary as a result of the sale of its newspapers.
More on the story.

Dang! You have more news on this blog in one day than a newspaper. I'm still reading. . .
Well, maybe if the real media would get off their rear ends and give the public some real news instead of giving us crapola!!! My attempt is to give much of what is happening and more up to speed. Believe me I have gotten alot of hits of certain topics on this blog. You haven't seen anything yet with news on this blog. ;-) Got to run...
Ya like Paris is trying to get the Gropinator to pardon her or something. I say lock her away so we don't have to hear about her.
Also former US Attorney (Northern Dist. Il), Governor Jim Thompson was on the stand last week for the Conrad Black trial, apparantly he knew a thing or two. It was in the Sunday Chicago Tribune.
Also to the list of Ex-US Attorney, Ex-Gov is pro bona lawfirm of Thompson, defended Ex-Gov Ryan.
"Ya like Paris is trying to get the Gropinator to pardon her or something."
LOL! I don't think so. All the sex video tapes won't help Paris. Paris is going to jail. Her story is a bit sensationalized. There are more important stuff in the news than Paris.
