Quote of the Day

" I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to who it properly belongs."

--Thomas Jefferson Letter to the Secretary of the Treasury Albert Gallatin (1802)

We are seeing the results of not listening. Now were the people smarter in 1802 and is that a result of the dumping down of America. The US now is bringing back the two Americas the rich and the poor. With that this house will not stand as we found out before. I read those words of the Quote of the Day and people like McCain and Romeny come to mind as the examples of how dumb American leaders are. I thought McCain was sick only to find out his dumb and old. Mitt is saying anything that makes people think he's ok, now his past has caught up with him. Rudy is just the slick lying mob boss and riding on 9/11 until the press prints the truth that Rudy stole and did photo ops that's it. He did make some new good friends who work in crime and murder.

Ironic how Thomas Jefferson's quotes reflects today. Add to the words "banks" and "corporation": Bush Adminstration.

There are new banks popping up all over, they are obviously doing better than well, there are more banks than gas station almost. And people are banking on-line and with direct deposits and on-line bill paying they don't need a lot of teller, but yet the banks are popping up faster than McDonalds.
