From the CREW:
GNN excerpted parts of Tom DeLay's new book. And, we're in it:
What emerged was the perfect storm of personal destruction. Between Pelosi and her puppets doing their worst on the floor of Congress, the liberal press echoing their lies, and a host of supposedly independent organizations like CREW (Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington), Common Cause, and Democracy 21, among others, filing suits and pressing ethics charges, I soon found myself in a sea of litigation and public misrepresentation.
Glad he noticed our work. DeLay, in his own mind, did nothing wrong. Of course, even the moribund House Ethics Committee felt compelled to admonish DeLay more than once.
And here is my response that I wrote on the CREW blog:
So, the indicted criminal DeLay writes about the CREW in his book. The Hammer certainly has time on his hands to write a book to trash the CREW and Nancy Pelosi. You must be doing something right, Ms. Sloan, if you got the corrupted and nimrod ex-Congressman shaking in his boots.
