Fitzgerald in Ireland

Prosecutor talks to U.S. lawyers visiting Dublin

DUBLIN, Ireland -- American prosecutors increasingly have to be aware of other countries' laws, Patrick Fitzgerald, Chicago's U.S. attorney, told a gathering of lawyers here Friday.
One example would be a prosecutor trying to go after a child molester who puts footage of his actions on the Internet. A prosecutor would need to be familiar with the laws of the country in which the transmission originates, Fitzgerald said.
"We used to think of prosecutions of conduct happening outside the United States as coming once in a blue moon, but I think we're going to start seeing this a lot more frequently," Fitzgerald said.

More on the story.

I'm glad Fitz got to go home to visit his family in Ireland. His boss and her father were wise to get him out of the United States and the heat raises in the scandals. Fitz open the door for all to see the inside workings of the corrupt White House. He let us with the cloud hanging over the Dickster. As a true and honest leader other have now stepped up the we will see the full picture of how the United States was invaded by the enemy within.
Patrick of old gave from his heart and was blessed for it, my Fitz is from the land of Ireland and to is blessed with the Luck of the Iris as he gave from his heart too.

It is more of work and vacation at the same time. Although he was a seminar for attorneys, at least he will get to see his relatives and be in the homeland of Ireland. Fitz out a lot of hard work and time into the 3 1/2 year leak investigation. I am sure when Fitz returns back to Chicago that he will be taking on alot of thecases of corruption. I just hope that the Illnois DOJ gets a qualified person for Collins' replacement.
