V for Vendetta in Australia

US Vice-President Dick Cheney arrived in Australia on Thursday, just hours after hundreds of anti-Iraq war protesters demonstrating against his visit clashed with police in downtown Sydney.
Scuffles broke out and 10 protesters were arrested as ranks of officers and mounted police tried to prevent more than 200 people opposed to Cheney's role in the war in Iraq from marching to the US consulate.
The demonstrators were later allowed to make their way to the consulate, where they chanted slogans demanding the withdrawal of troops from Iraq and the release of an Australian held at the US military prison in Guantanamo Bay.
