It's official: Bag Lady Miers resigning as White House Counsel



Harriet Miers, the long-time legal adviser to President George W. Bush, has reportedly resigned from her White House post, various news agencies are reporting.

I thought Bush needed all the lawyers he could get? Did his new group not play nice with Harriet?

Well, when he is lawyered up, it meant the bag lady was on her way out. Thank goodness her excuse was not that she needed time to be with her family.

Yes Bush does need lawyers but he needs lawyers who passed the bar and who earned their law degrees. So far the lawyers Bush has appointed are those who were given degrees and are friends who do as their told. Miers might be a nice lady but put was made a fool by thinking the idiot President had the power to be a Dictator in the US. Now she will be remembered for losing an appointment to he highest position any lawyer would want.
