ExxonMobil playing the global warming game

I'm glad to see that ExxonMobil is again being a good global citizen. What would the world do without such a great company? Heck, we ought to give them another tax cut so they can fund even more studies.
ExxonMobil Corp. gave $16 million to 43 ideological groups between 1998 and 2005 in a coordinated effort to mislead the public by discrediting the science behind global warming, the Union of Concerned Scientists asserted Wednesday.

Yes Mobil tryed to discredit the Global warming like the cigarette companies tryed to discredit the lung cancer thing. It will be another company later on trying to discredit something else that they know is right.

And notice that the ex-CEO of ExxonMobil walked away with a 400 billion dollar retirement package? And of course, the 4th quarter of the company revenue went well for the executives and the shareholders. It just simply abuse of power by executives from a fortune 500 company to profit from the public and ignore health and the environment.
