The "spend time with the family" syndrome is back
Vacation how do get away? Another one bails out.
Rumsfeld's 'chief henchman' to step down
Stephen A. Cambone, Under Secretary of Defense and a close associate of outgoing Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, is resigning effective December 31, according to a Department of Defense press release. Cambone's departure was not unexpected in the wake of Rumsfeld's resignation.
According to the press release, Cambone said, "It has been a distinct honor and privilege to serve the incredible men and women of our Armed Forces, the secretary of defense, and the President's national security team during the past several years." He added that he was "looking forward to spending more time with family."

Like as though he was away from his family for decades and decided to come home all of sudden... And who else is next to bail out and has a need to be home with his or her family?

These guys are going to have to come up with another excuse this one is old. Everyone who gets kicked to the curb uses that lame excuse. Once out their looking for employment. Look at Powell he was looking for employment the day after he got kicked out. Maybe Bush will use that excuse when he resigns, he wants to spend time with the family/Connie. To late for teaching the twins their already drunks. Laura is hanging with the rich Texan. Cheney should just pull the plug on himself and do us all a favor.
