Oh I was also going to add to my CTA that we have a special force of CTA cops that work undercover on all the CTA buses and especially the night El's, I have friends who are cops that do this because you can get a steady shift, don't have to buy uniforms etc. So Chicago is paying for this crew. But I did not add that to my costs when I posted....because I had some comments removed by "blog administrator" and thought I should not advertise this additional expense which is working.

You don't have to tell me the cost. With the stealing among the elected officials both city and county, a corrupted city and state, raises for certain officials, high taxes, no budget for hospitals, DOJ offices, organizations, etc., the city is in the red financially... All you do is look at the balance sheet for the city of Chicago...
Well I did not want to advertise that we have under cover COPs on the CTA, therefore they took the conductors away. So, my point is the Aldermen should know this!, but it is not ADVERTISED, if you know what I mean. So the CTA force (as the cops call it) replaced the Conductors, except your average passenger does not know this, because they would not be undercover!
Of course, it wouldn't be advertised that there are undercover COPS..But, it is a bit stupid to get rid of the conductors to have undercover COPS. And of course, it will cost the city more money to pay them. I am sure the cops are not going be satified with their salary alone and also spy on the El train..

With what you are telling me about the Alderman and our city, it just sounds to me that they don't give a rip and officials are stealing left from right and not thinking about the city and it's people.. Unless there is some changes, more a budget for the DOJ office to get rid of garbage, there will still continuing problems... Your city sure as hell sound like mine except for the high crime rate... We have city officials and a mayor with a mentality that don't want changes.. That is why we have such a low amount of jobs in my area.. And what is shame is that they are not giving the people who live my city top priority for jobs...
What gets me is we can save a lot of money by getting rid of the Cook County Administrators, because they are ex-aldermen, etc. and back and forth and they are all in cahoots with each other (city & county) so just get rid of a bunch of them and call the Alderman, Aldercomissioners?
Plain and sinple, Chicago Native: GID RID OF THE GARBAGE! And includes anyone that are in cahoots..Seems your city are hiring and festering more garage and corruption.. The more the DOJ tries to clean up the garbage, the more evildoers dump for trash into the city and county jobs... Just wipe the slate clean of garbage... But, there is much needed help in your city.. There is too much corruption...
Amen, it is just breeding out of control here! The County and the City are one tangled mess that have to be dealt with as one unit, because it has all the same players and unless you live here and follow it from one day to the next you can't keep up with if they are at the City or County from day to day, since it is so fluid between them with the same names coming up, first names differ.
