CNN) -- The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has opened a criminal investigation of former Republican Rep. Mark Foley.
The six-term congressman resigned from the House in September after his inappropriate e-mails to young congressional pages came to light. He then entered a rehabilitation facility for alcohol abuse.
The FDLE opened a preliminary inquiry into Foley's conduct shortly after his resignation, and agency spokeswoman Kristen Perezluha said Thursday it has found "a basis to open a criminal investigation." More on the story.

4K for taxes is cheap around here. We also have a school funding issue, the schools, librairy, everything is funded out of our taxes.
If you are going to buy for investment in Illinois the 355 (North South tollway,until they rename it like Gov. Ryan Tollway or something) extension South is underway until Highway 80, homes around New Lenox or anywhere there will be worth more on completion.
When 355 extended some years back property owners in Boinlingbrook made a lot of money (or anything along that route) prior this you could buy in Boilingbrook cheap, and no one wanted to be out there because it was out in no where with no good accessable highway,
not anymore.

You mean to tell me that they will actally name the tollway after a criminal that have been indicted and sentenced?? And I believe you about your taxes when you are at versus the rest of the area. And I should complain about my area because there are other area that are paying 3 times as much I do.. But, the point being is that homeonwer are being screwed because the state don't have any money and the Gerbil has gambled money into Iraq.

Foley should be afraid of prison. Words gets around the prisoner about a pediphiler entering prison.. Foley is more hosed in prison than Abramoff.

Yes the City of Chicago passed a 5.7 Billion dollar budget the other day and the County (Cook) has at least a 6.1 billion dollar budget, added together 11.8 Billion, so we pay.

Also he is still trying to collect pension for when he was Secretary of State, since he was convicted as governor activities. (but the paying off at the Sec. of State truck facilities causes well a death of a minivan full of kids)

Amazing huh?? Chicago passes a huge budget, Ryan gets a toolway named after him, Ryan enjoy his taste of freedom before he heads to prison, and then sticks the taxpayers with the bill.. What an asswipe..
