Be afraid Bush. Be very afraid

Two anti-U.S. nations heap praise on each other

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) -- Iran's president visited Venezuela for the first time on Sunday, advancing an increasingly close alliance between two leaders united by fierce opposition to the United States.
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who greeted President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at Caracas' main airport, said the two countries plan to set up a plant for producing gunpowder and other components of ammunition.
"Iran is generously transferring technology to us," Chavez told troops shortly before the Iranian leader arrived. He said Iran and Venezuela will also set up factories to build cars and produce plastics -- efforts to be formalized with the signing of accords during Ahmadinejad's two-day visit.
Chavez said Iran and Venezuela are "two heroic nations" with "two revolutions that are giving each other a hand."
Chavez has become a leading defender of Iran's nuclear ambitions on the world stage, while Ahmadinejad and other Middle Eastern leaders are backing Venezuela's bid for a rotating seat on the U.N. Security Council -- a candidacy opposed by the Bush administration, which is supporting Guatemala instead.
Clutching Chavez's hands in a prolonged handshake, Ahmadinejad said Venezuela and Iran have much in common.
"Today we have thoughts, objectives and interests in common," Ahmadinejad said through an interpreter at the airport. "We must be united to be able to make these ideas reality with the aim of achieving justice and peace in the world."
Iran and Venezuela also have signed a series of accords for their state oil companies to explore for and extract oil and natural gas here.

After initial talks Sunday in Caracas, Chavez and Ahmadinejad will visit an oil field on Monday for a ceremony marking the start of joint drilling. They also plan a tour to a joint-venture tractor-assembly factory on Monday.

"I bet Chavez could have gotten supplies together and sent them faster than FEMA."

Chavez did say in an interview that he was prepared to sent supplies to the Hurricane victims but the Gerbil told him no. The Gerbil told no to Castro too!

I already contacted my reps on their Website about Iran months ago. One of my reps has ties to Cunningham so I doubt that he will not do anything..

I figured out what's behind the horror on Bush's face. The CIA agents are going to be charged with those secret prisons/torture crimes. Their lawyers told them to tell the truth that the Commander-in-chief gave the orders. Now the Gerbil will be charged by the UN unless the US has a policy that allows torture and secret prisons. Not to mention the lawsuits. Bush is fighting for his life so anything goes. Now to Hugo and the Iran President well lets say they busted Bush/Cheney/Halliburton plan for middle east oil control.
Ya Bowtie your right about Hugo wanting to help the Katrina victims but remember he also gave oil at 40% off to the East Coast states during the winter. The world leaders and the people of the world like Americans but they hate George W. Bush. If the idiot Bush ever invaded Iran now you'll see a world war as Iran is making friends and the US is losing friends.
