Wingnut News for Tuesday.

Headline: Every who blowhard lives down in Whoville.

Joe the Plumber advises GOP-ers — Fresh off his stint as a war correspondent in Gaza, Joe the Plumber is now doing political strategy with Republicans. — When GOP congressional aides gather Tuesday morning for a meeting …

STRAIGHT OUTTA HOOVERVILLE — It gets better. The latest from RNC Chair Michael Steele: “Not in the history of mankind has the government ever created a job.” — This is such transparent nonsense it's hard to know where to start; but I guess it builds on the DeMint nonsense.

Limbaugh: Bush wasn’t partisan.
While much of the attention on Rush Limbaugh has focused on his
stated desire to see President Obama fail, he has also been going around trying to secure President Bush’s legacy. Sunday, for example, he appeared on Fox’s Hannity’s America and tried to argue that Bush wasn’t at all partisan:
RUSH: Well, I think he’s a decent man. He’s a - he had a reverence for the office, that’s why he didn’t get partisan. He thought it was irreverent to turn the Oval Office, or the Office of the Presidency, into a partisan strategic battle place. […]
Yes, you know, domestic policy, he did some things that puzzled us - creating a new entitlement, the whole immigration thing, signing campaign finance reform. But he’s a good man. He’s not hated.
Vitter Argues In Favor Of Indefinite Detention For Gitmo Detainees
A coterie of right-wing senators are trekking to Guantanamo yesterday on “a fact-finding mission in response to President Obama’s executive order to close the prison.” The group — which includes Sens. David Vitter (R-LA), Jim Inhofe (R-OK), Richard Burr (R-NC), and Pat Roberts (R-KS) — will undoubtedly report back that the facility is vital for our national security and needs to remain open.
“I’ve always looked at (the prison) as being
a real valuable asset,” Inhofe said in an interview before departing. Roberts, concerned that some Gitmo inmates might be moved to Ft. Leavenworth, said, “I am convinced these terrorists cannot and will not be housed in Kansas.” The alternative solution, proudly proclaimed by these senators, is to keep the prisoners at Guantanamo locked up indefinitely.
In an interview with Fox News on Saturday, Vitter repeatedly argued strongly in favor of indefinite detention:
We need the ability to deal with these folks adequately. To me, that has to include the ability to detain some — without trial — to continue proper interrogation. […]
I’d like to have Gitmo stay open. But certainly, we need detention facilities where we can detain dangerous terrorists without trial, continue to interrogate them.

  1. Permenant detention without charges or trial?

LOL Only when Vitter agrees to a permanent lock on his willie, so he doesn't have anymore 'trouble' from hookers...

  2. Now now Vitters is getting fat but we'll know he got out to get some more hookers when his weight goes down. Wendy #1 is checking him hourly and Wendy #2 is waiting.

Joe the Plummer who doesn't have a license nor did he pay his lead on the house is now going to tell Americans how to deal with the Economy. Let's just ask John McCain. This is what happens when you've hit rock bottom. Joe will do anything for a dime. Thank goodness Larry Craig is gone you never know what he would ask for.

  5. "Wonder if those hookers have those baby diapers/rubber pants in jumbo size?"

lol That's funny. Vitter is now the property including his conjones of the GOP party when they cleaned up Vitter's image of being the hooker and diaper loving Congressional leader and his 5 plus and more prostitutes in his scandal in 2007 and last year. And Vitter's comments on Gitmo makes him sound clownish.
