Two of Unity 08's founders resigned, Doug Bailey and Gerald Rafshoon. The rumor is there might be some connection with the resignations and the Mayor of New York, the real one, Michael Bloomberg. Unity 08 is shutting down operations towards running a presidential ticket. Their original intent was to pick a Democrat and a Republican after the regular primaries and run a joint presidential ticket. Many of them dreamed of getting a Chuck Hegel and Dennis Kucinich ticket and bring back truth and integrity to the White House.
And the dude that wants Hastert's seat? Don't touch his hand, kittybowtie. Use Purell. And his campaign donor couldn't keep his pants up. Caught with a strawberry. Tsk, tsk, tsk...
